Requesting Spare Instruments, Props and Costumes:
especially zils, veils, skirts, drums and swords
We need some vital stuff! We believe that music and traditional folk elements of belly dance are important parts of every belly dancer's education. This is why we are looking for key tools that help students experience these unique skills to their fullest extent.
We are accepting whatever we can get our hands on. We will mend ripped skirts or match up random zils. Whatever it takes!
Many of you have donated to us in the past, and we are very grateful! Our students love wearing the sparkly goodness that you've passed down over the years.
Options:
Drop off – You can drop things at one of our upcoming events (TBA in the comments), or at any of the following times throughout the week until March 20th:
Sundays – 4:30-5pm
Mondays – 5:30-6pm
Tuesdays – 3:30-4pm
Thursdays - 3-4pm
Pick-up - We are a completely volunteer-run organization; many of us have limited availability or access to transportation. We may be able to pick something up, but scheduling can be tricky.
Mail - Grab a flat rate box from the post office and ship up to 70 lbs of stuff for a nominal fee.
Donate - If you don't have any of the requested items, but want to help us purchase them, we are always accepting monetary donations through our website here.
Thank you so much! Your support (in any form) means the world to us and our students.
