Join Marissa Mission for our 8th annual summer camp! We are pulling out all the stops this year and offering a variety of movement art forms to nourish expansion, connection and growth as individuals as well as members of a tribe. As always, our programming is based around improvisational bellydance, which fosters creativity, confidence, positive group dynamics, and is an inherently empowering experience. Yoga and aerial arts will help youth find their center and strength in the midst of collaboration and play. Henna and Middle Eastern drumming will be taught as ways to share personal expression with our hands, and to honor ancient practices.
We are excited to announce that this year our teen students will have the opportunity to teach and grow with the mini M&Ms (ages 8-12) students as they join us for the last 2 hours of camp each day.
