Lyndsey Blythe

Lyndsey Blythe learned early in life that anything can be a drum. After destroying her mother's Tupperware, she moved onto proper instruments like snare drum, drum kit, and marimba. Combining her artistic talents with her passion for percussion has led her to create drums from vases, logs, and even a coconut! She currently plays a doumbek with belly dancers all over Portland, as a single facet of her world rhythm explorations. Drumming allows her a peaceful and meditative connection no matter where she is. She seeks to satisfy her hunger for new and exciting drum discoveries by sharing this healing power with anyone who has a heartbeat!
